New Beginnings

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland” (Isaiah 43:18-19). God tells us, even in the Old Testament, that He is doing a new thing. A new thing is a good thing. He is making a WAY for us in the wilderness, He is giving us streams of living water in times we are in the wastelands.

I went on my first date yesterday for the first time in a long time. I actually had fun, yeah there times I was thinking of what he was doing but I forced those thoughts out of my mind and focused on the guy I was with. This guy was super sweet and we never had a quite moment we talked and laughed and played around haha.

Date started at 3, we went to the botanical gardens, everything outside was dead but the green house was BEAUTIFUL. Then we walked around the park making fun of people, talking about our likes and dislikes. We saw the ducks. He took me to my favorite restaurant I got to eat cheese fries once again. Then ended the night at Amarillo Escape and Mystery. That was the hardest thing I had to do, using my brain to get clues to figure out how to get out of the room. It was so fun but hard ha.

Will be there another date in my future? I have no idea but if so I would love to do another Escape and Mystery just an easier room.

Today is the Patriots game, it just started so LET’S GO PATRIOTS!!! 🙂
